Course Description :
This course covers the history of the Arabs in the Arabian Peninsula. Starting from 1600 B.C up to the Rise of Islam, concentrating mostly on the cultural role played by the Arab states in Southern Arabia ( Yemen ) and other groups within Arabia, and outside Arabia. Nabeteans , Palmyra’s etc… Special emphasis will be given to Political, economic, religious and social condition of the Arabs before the rise of Islam
